Our aim is to support a connected and informed local community. We work with commercial and statutory bodies, Dublin City Council, and An Garda Síochána to keep our neighbourhood safe, well-served, and well-maintained – now and into the future.
Our Area
WoCRA covers Camden Street to Heytesbury Street, Harrington Street to Camden Row, with Montague Street, Pleasants Street, Pleasants Place, St Kevin’s Cottages, Grantham Street, Grantham Place, Synge Street, and Camden Place residents included.
What We Do

Represent residents’ concerns.
Act as a point of contact for local bodies.
Organise neighbourhood parties and events.
Protect the liveability and long-term vision for our area.

Become a member of WoCRA
As a local resident, your voice is important!
Amplify your voice by getting involved in whatever way suits you — whether that’s joining a sub-group, attending a meeting, planning a community event, or simply staying informed.
Membership is open to all residents of the West of Camden map area.
Members opt in to the WhatsApp residents’ group for regular communications and updates.
The group is private, and your information will never be shared.
WoCRA Sub-groups
Join a sub-group! Volunteers are needed for:
Planning Power: Homes not hotels! Strategic observations and objections to hotels and pub extensions.
Hygiene Hacks: Report litter and waste management violations to eradicate the ‘broken window’ effect.
Events: Summer street feast, heritage walks, Christmas songs on Synge Street, and other social occasions to support a feel-good environment.
Footpaths and Furniture: Keep footpaths for pedestrians, monitor safety and obstructions, ensure DCC enforces rules and businesses comply.
Crime Crackdown: Record, report, and work with Garda to protect the area and keep everyone safe.

Annual Membership is due!
How to pay? Annual Membership is €30 per household. The best payment method is a standing order. This helps us plan and reduces the collection and treasury effort of your voluntary committee. You can set this up in your banking app using the details below. It takes two minutes. Even if you have paid this year, set it up to start next year on 01/10/2027!
